Brenda's spirit, inherited through her mother, Aggie, a life-long artist, hit high gear after moving out west at an early age from the Chicago area.
Arizona's famous sunsets... open ranges, metallic mountains and shimmering deserts Brenda absorbed... appreciated and interpreted into her work. Vibrant coppers... subtle silvers... and mellow red brass mimic the hues of the Southwest. Brenda's pendants.. earrings.. concho belts and now her new "Twisted Ponies" reflect her view of color and beauty in her world.. When not creating.. Brenda loves to ride the desert on her old Trakehner mare, Baby.. travelling.. or her annual trek back to her Mother's homeland, Nova Scotia.. "I love the desert.. but I am a true "Maritimer" at heart.." |
