 Lu Bellamak is the founding director of the PAINT WITH LU art studio in Scottsdale. She is also a practitioner of Zen Meditation and Gestalt therapy. By blending her unique skills, together with over 25 years of teaching and developing the Expressive Arts, she has produced a creative process for people wanting to discover their own aliveness while learning how to paint and sketch.
Lu is a Mast teacher and an accomplished artist in her own right. Lu paints from the essence of her being. While it is difficult to identify her style by a single label, one thing is clear...Lu Bellamak has discovered how to paint her feelings. She has an uncanny ability to make color live and breathe, and her loose and free style gives her work a personality of its own. People who have been painting for years seek her out to help them shed their inhibitions just as she has done in her own work. Lu conducts "Paint With Lu" workshops in Scottsdlae and in Santa Barbara, California during the summer months. In Europe, Lu teaches in Italy, Greece, Spain and France. She also takes students to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Bali on sketching trips. |
